Industrial Acoustics

Vibration Engineering
Our engineers measure and model vibration sources and their transmission through the ground and building structures. We protect occupants, sensitive equipments and existing buildings from vibration generated by railways, tramways, construction works and machinery, and we design isolation solutions for laboratories, clean rooms and microelectronics facilities.
Computational Fluid Dynamics & Indoor Air Quality
GANTHA also provides engineering expertise in fluid mechanics and indoor air quality. Combining CFD simulation and on-site measurements, we analyse airflow, ventilation, thermal comfort and pollutant dispersion in buildings, large spaces and industrial sites, as well as fire and gas release scenarios.
From acoustic assessment to engineering solutions
Measurement & Diagnosis
Our engineers carry out on-site measurements to characterise noise and vibration, identify their sources and assess existing performance. We use our own equipment, including around 50 class 1 sound level meters, accelerometers, acoustic arrays for source localisation, remote monitoring systems and weather stations.
Acoustic Modelling & Simulation
Numerical modelling enables us to predict acoustic performance, compare scenarios and optimise technical solutions before implementation. Our software suite includes CATT-Acoustic, SoundPLAN, Acoubat BIM, Code_Aster and Ansys CFD.
Design & Recommendations
Based on measurements, calculations and project constraints, we develop technically appropriate and cost-effective recommendations, from acoustic specifications for tender documents to detailed treatment design.
Implementation & Verification
We support project teams during construction and installation, then carry out acceptance measurements to verify that the solutions deliver the expected performance.
